An Interview with Scott Warren of the Saving Advice Hub

First things first, who are you and how do you help small businesses?

I am a financial educator, and at Saving Advice Hub we help business owners become confident in what they charge and get the best value out of their products. This helps these business owners to get the business, and lifestyle, that they deserve.

What made you become a member of Start-Talk-Grow?

My value is about helping people and gaining knowledge. I know just how difficult it can be when starting up your own business, and so I want to help these new businesses as they start out on their journey, and be able to impower them to be as successful as they can possibly be.

What inspired you to start your business?

I decided I’d had enough of the employed world after being forced out of work which had left me with nothing. With the knowledge and skills that I had, I was able to get myself out of the hole I found myself in. I was then also able to help my family and friends become financially independent, and it helped me to realise that I had the skills and knowledge available to be able to help people and businesses become better with their finances too.

What makes you different from others in your field?

As far as I am currently aware, there is nobody else in my area of work that offers the same sort of service as me.

What are the greatest achievements you’ve had in your business?

I started to work with a business that was managing to just break even each month. Within the first month of us working together, I helped them turn a profit of £1,000.

What did you wish you knew when you started that you have learned along the way?

When I first started out, I wish I had known more about the Law of Attraction and the inner workings of the process to land better clients. As my business has grown over time, it has become clear to me just how crucial these are and how much they could’ve helped me if I had known them from the start.
